Hey there....new to the boards....was wondering if I can get some more recent updates and opinions on the Crescent Beach Club vs. Land's End....my fiance and I looked at CBC the other day and really liked it! Certain aspects they offer are exactly what we're looking for, however we still want to look at LE and a few other places....any opinions on both? pricing? view? tips?

I have been to both as a wedding guest and can say they are both wonderful venues. I don't think you could go wrong! CHeck them out and compare cost and dates available. Good Luck!

We were very close to having our wedding at lands end - I've been to a wedding there before and it was beautiful ! Everything was great- and depending on when you are getting married they are willing to work on the price

I have rates for March, April, Sept-Nov for 2015 for Lands End - let me know if you would like me to send. I know you're getting married in May 2016 but you may be able to use them as a benchmark

Agreed.....The only thing I could say is the ballroom at lands end is a little nicer. But still both great. Crescent beach club def has a little more of an on the beach wedding feel then just being on the water.
Really you can't go wrong.

I'm getting married at crescent beach club! I fell in love with the beach and palm trees they plant outside to make it look like a destination wedding.

I have quotes for Land's End for Fall 2016 if you're interested. I've heard they're very flexible as well as far as negotiating. We just decided not to go with a waterfront venue since we both hate boats and get motion sickness.. it just didn't make much sense lol

I've been in weddings at both venues and both were amazing! If I had to pick it would probably be for Lands End :)

We're getting married at Land's End. It looks like you're wanting to get married in May, but the rates for October were EXTREMELY reasonable for the quality of the venue. I've heard the food is amazing, and just the way it was presented when we went to look was a step up from other venues. Their staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend at least taking a look!
