Cress Florist (Little Neck) vs. James Cress Florist (Smithtown)

Hi girls - I received a fair quote from Cress Florist (Little Neck), and was trying to search for some reviews on them.. but kept getting confused with James Cress Florist (Smithtown).

Has anyone used / would recommend Cress Florist (Little Neck) ? They are a local shop in the douglaston/little neck area.

I met with James Cress and they refused to give me a quote until a few days (after I met with him twice) and the quote was almost double that of other florists I met with.

May be arrogant, but knows his business.
I used James Cress and loved my flowers. The table arrangements were gorgeous. BTW, I walked in without an appointment and they accomodated us. I had specific ideas of what I wanted and Rich was able to visualize them. Walked out with a quote on our first meeting.

Maybe a bit more expensive than other florists, but he was able to interpret my ideas the way I wanted them to be.

I've known a few ppl who used Cress in Little Neck and were really happy with the flowers. I used to have a friend who worked there..I haven't spoken to her in years though...

That's great feedback about both - thanks guys! I have what I need to make a decision. I just need to see my sample centerpieces and I'm all set.

I haven't used James Cress, but FH's aunt did. She was waiting in the limo at the outside of the church next to the delivery truck because they were late delivering her ceremony flowers. We were all seated as they walked down the center aisle and delivered the flowers...they were beautiful but LATE!!!
