Just wondering if there are any Crest Hollow Brides out there?
I went and visited their site recently and got a really good impression from them. What room did you book? Heard anything good, bad, etc?
Does anyone have any pictures? Of the room, decorations? outdoor cocktail or cermony?
Thanks!

Not sure if this will help too much but I had my Christmas party there and the place is immaculate. The food very yummy. Gets two thumbs up from this diva.

I had my wedding there in November and it was perfect. The people we dealt with were great and professional. The food was great- we got lots of compliments. They just did a wonderful job all around and I would recommend them to everyone!

Re: Crest Hollow?
I went there last June for a wedding. The food was great. We had a good time. The staff was helpful. I really wasan't to close to the bride so I am not sure of details, However I am actually going to be there on April 2nd. My best friend is having her reception there. I was planning on posting a full review of her wedding after. I am A BM soI will have an inside look.

Re: Crest Hollow?
We went to a wedding there a little over a year ago and it was very nice the only thing that we didnt like was they put 40's of beer on the table. I hope you know what I am talking about it just reminded me of a boy's in the hood movie. It was the first and only time I had seen that at any social event. They guys thought it was a great idea so they didnt have to keep getting up to get drinks but all of the girls were shocked to see it. Just in my opinion it looked a little tacky.

Hey I'm a Crest Hollow bride...in 2005...but I booked the Plaza room....mainly bc i fell in love with the long windows in the room overlooking the pool, and the connected terrace for smokers! and great price.... and yes Leo is the best to work with...request him if at all possible!

I liked the Plaza room too! It would be great if you could post your pictures! How are you planning on decorating that room. I went and visited but I can't remember the details of how the room was.

Re: Crest Hollow?
My mistake... I think the room I liked is called the Starlight room... I really need to go look at the rooms again. I'm getting them all confused =(
Nevertheless, it's the room that's longer and has windows at the end with a view of the pool. (Although all the rooms seem to have a view of the pool!)
I also thought the ballroom was pretty.
Should have brought my digital camera when I went!

Re: Crest Hollow?
I got married at Crest Hollow on August 2. I was in the Plaza room. It is the room upstairs at the end with the view of the pool and a lot of windows. The room at the other end is the starlight room (long and windows at the end). I also had my ceremony outside which i absolutely loved. We took pics at the oyster bay aboretum and Crest Hollow.
I really loved it there and have no complaints. Everyone was so accomodating and my bridal attendant was really wonderful. She changed my dads buttons on his tuxedo shirt so they were fancier and she was right on top of everything. It was so perfect.
Here are some of my proofs. I never had to worry about anything!
Hope this helps. You can Forum mail me if you have any questions. Kimberly

Re: Crest Hollow?
I you don't have the cocktail hour outside there is a room that is next to the Plaza room that is for cocktail hours that overlooks the pool. That is where i had mine. The first time i went there they didn't show it to me. I got to see it later and requested it right away.

Wow, you're pictures are gorgous!
I visited recently so I didn't get to see any of the ceremony area. It was all covered in snow but this gives me a much better idea! Thanks for posting the pictures.
I'll definately have to go back for a return visit. I didn't get to see all the rooms last time either. They had some parties when we visited.
Looks like you had a really awesome wedding! Congrats.

Re: Crest Hollow?
I'm getting married there - in the Starlight room. We absolutley loved the place. The staff was by far, the most professional and impressive of the places we visited. We are having the room decorated with tulle. I remember most of the colors being in the burgandy family so I think I am going to have my flower colors in that family - or in a violet family. Good luck

Re: Crest Hollow?
I went to a wedding there in November, the place is beautiful, however the cocktail hour food was very cold, and the food was not too tasty... no one at our table are picky about food, but most of the people at our table did not like it . ( The prime rib was tasteless) I do not know anyhting else about the other food , i did not taste it. My sister had her wedding there 8 years ago and it was fantatsic, even the food. Maybe it was just the chef who was on that night. This is just my honest opinion, please do not jump all over me for it. Also, they were breaking down the ceromony sight b4 we all got out of the room they were collecting the chairs... someone noticed it also, maybe we noticed it because we are both planning weddings.

Re: Crest Hollow?
Overall the place was nice. (beautiful grounds and rooms).Although something happened there that bothered me. A waitress accidently spilled a drink on my fiance and didn't even apologize. I thought that was rude.
