Crest Hollow Brides

Hi everyone...just a few CHCC questions? First off, anyone getting married there this August? Any new news with music at the outdoor cocktail hour? Heard the the DJ can't play and you can only have soft music playing such as a harp or violins. Is anyone doing this? If so what were you quoted for the hour? Also, on the contract I noticed that it says $10 credit per table centerpieces and only house florist can be used. What does that mean? Hope everyone has a happy holiday and a safe and healthy new year! Hope to hear from you soon.
Danielle

Re: Crest Hollow Brides

Dani, I am not getting married there this August, but I am getting married there in November. As far as the music goes, I am not too sure since my wedding will be inside. Do a search on this board about it because I remember reading posts about this. I am getting a trio to play during my ceremony. I used a house florist just because I liked their work and I was upgraded by $10 for each centerpiece I got. For example if you get a centerpiece for $100 they will give you one that would cost $110 but only charge you $100. Hope this helps. What room are you having your reception in?

Re: Crest Hollow Brides

Just a note to Crest Hollow Brides - they are having their usual New Year's Eve bask this year, and it's a good way to enjoy yourself at the hall without worrying about all of the details of it being your affair. It costs $95 per person (plus tax, etc.), and is definitely worth it!!! It starts at 7:30, and goes until 2am, and they're starting with a smorgasbord (spelling?), and then to a full sit down dinner (filet mignon, etc.), and they will have a live 9-piece band in one room, and a DJ in the other room, and you can drink (open bar all night) and dance the night away. I was married there in 2000, and I can't wait to go back there and just enjoy myself as a bride (without the worry)!!! I wish I could wear my gown again to go there.....

Anyway, just a suggestion! And, it's such a reasonable price for New Year's Eve too!
