The FH & I went to go check out CH this past weekend but due to the fact that there was a wedding going on in the Plaza room I couldn't get to check the room out and there aren't that many pictures online. The other room that we got to peek into was the Emerald Room but the room seemed outdated and dark. We loved the price they gave us & the outside though. Are there any brides that can give me some opinions/advice on CH? Food, service. things to look out for etc.. any help is appreciated.
Thanks :)

Before I booked I asked them to do a food tasting and it was all incredible! If your interested in booking I highly recommend you do the same. So far I have had nothing but great positive experiences with them. Every time I email my banquet manager or call him it is no more than a few mins before I hear back. My room is the starlight room which in my opinion is amazing but the plaza was really nice too (those were my 2 faves) I'm getting married outside near the white gazebo which I personally like more than the other option so if you plan on having your ceremony there def check out both options and find out which are available. One thing to look out for it there only offer about 2 or 3 different kinds of beer. This wasn't an issue for me since we don't have many big beer drinkers but for others it can be. Also, there are more than 1 wedding at a time which for some are also a deal breaker (once again not something i'm concerned with). Lastly, you have to use one of their recommended florists but not to worry because I checked almost them all out and they all were very good (personally i went with distinctive floral for both the price and creativity). Hope this was helpful and if you have any questions feel free to fm me :) Who is the bm you are working with?

Thanks for all the info :) We met with Helen she was very nice and helpful. Since we expect 250-300 she said those two rooms would be best for us. How many people does your room hold? Were also not having a ceremony so were not worry about that. She didn't tell us anything about flowers however. I planned on making my own cp's since I don't want to spend that much on flowers. I will also def ask about a tasting though. How was the food? I

I had my wedding there and it was amazing...just know there are a million and be rules -only can be there 2 hrs before for pictures -ony 2 beers - must take your stuff back the night of your wedding - must use one of the preferred vendors unless they take out from the contract -they won't tell you what room you have for cocktail hour until the week of the wedding
I was on top of them and was vocal about what I wanted and my wedding was amazing.

Thanks for the info :) I saw your review everything looked so nice. What room were you in and how was the food? I am going to go back this weekend to check out the rooms. I have been reading that some brides had problems leading up to the wedding so that just makes me nervous.

i got married there - in the plaza room, and everything was perfect!!! FM if you have specific questions or take a look at my albums for pics
edit to say i HATED the pink lighting. i think it was new for CHCC so they decided the day of my wedding to just give me the pink lighting since my flowers were pink - i look at half my photos and think the pink ruins it. i would not do the uplighting even if they do it for free

I liked chcc too but then I read a few brides reviews and saw that the turn over rate of banquet managers was pretty high, they don't openly tell you that the outside space for cockail hr is shared with possibly 2-3 other parties, the beer options, bathrooms so after looking up information I just got a bad vibe seeing that the banquet manager didn't tell us any of that and when I contacted him regarding those issues I never heard back from him.

I was in the Plaza Room... I had the uplighting in blue and I ABSOLUTELY loved the uplighting.
The food was great and everyone still raving about it.
With regard to the outside party... I was told that there can be more than one CH outside. To me I did not care so it did not stop me.

Agree with all of this except I chose the purple (blue is so pretty too) up lighting and IMO its gorgeous

We went on 8/25 but congrats on your wedding glad to hear it went well! So you only get to pick one color lighting? It doesn't change colors? I'm new to this wedding stuff so I have to do my research :)

If I recall what I was told the last time I was there, you can have it either way. If you want to change colors during the night you can, or you can keep one color.

FYI, just went to a wedding there last weekend. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate so I didn't experience the outdoor CH, but even the indoor setup looked great. The food delicious and the service was spot on. All of us CHCC brides are going to have great nights!
