Crest Hollow Brides Re; Wedding Cake

Hi, So we went for our appointment a couple weeks back, and I cant help but still be a little bothered by this. We decided to go with the in house cake, because we did not want to spend additional money. We were then asked what kind filling we wanted and were given a list of choices. Since this is my wedding cake, and not a birthday cake! I asked if i could try a few of the options in order to make a decision because there was one I liked from a bridal show there but could not remember which one, and I was advised that I could if I went back to a bridal show, but they could not provide me with samples at that point. Did this happen to anyone else, and if not could you advise what you think I should do about this :(
