Is anyone getting married at crest hollow country club 2012.
Thought this would be a great way to help each other out with our vendors, flower, photographer, music Etc.
This can be just so over whelming.

Ok so as far as I found out the already installed LED on the chandeliers are included the other uplighting is extra but he couldnt give me an exact amount...Maybe another bride should call..whose up for it?! Then maybe we will get to verify this info..

I just saw the vendor showcase is on Sept 7...is anyone going to go to this? I'm not sure if I can, since it's a Wed night, but I'd like to!
I also loooove that it's on our exact date one year before!!!

I may try to stop by. I have been to one of the showcases inside and it would be great to see one outside.
I have all of my vendors booked so it would be more about just getting to be there again!

seems like a lot of ladies booked the plaza/empire room. I am so excited about the LED lights and the waterford crystal on the walls, my Mom was amazed when we stopped in to look at the room. can't wait!

im in the plaza room - is this a new addition? i thought they just changed the floors in january but that's all the renos i've heard of do you have pics?!

When we visited and booked in July they mentioned all the rooms will have uplighting. If it wasn't completely installed just then, it was going to be very soon. It looked AMAZING in the room we saw (I can't remember the name, it was in the middle at the top of the stairs). They said the lights can change colors at whatever speed you'd like or it can stay at one color. I'd check in with your BM and double check on that!

Ok so plaza room def. has uplighting it was just confirmed by BM Sharon. I can't wait to see it. She said we could go over the pricing when we meet since my contract is already signed.

Hey, wanted to bump this thread again. I saw a thread from a couple years ago but wanted to confirm: does CH provide chair covers or is that something we have to rent from a vendor?

I believe you can either rent them from CHCC or from an outside vendor. Unfortunately they don't throw them in for free, although, if you didn't sign your contract yet, maybe you can negotiate it in?

Wanted to give you girls a heads up. I was planning on doing a candy bar. I emailed my BM and she said that you can't bring the candy in and you would have to go through them.

i would have never thought to even ask about that. my aunt actually does that for a living and wanted to give the candy bar to me as a gift and had been going back and forth with the idea.
that really doesnt seem fair that you HAVE to use them for it.

dont mean to crash but i got married at chcc last month and saw this thread... they do have uplighting in the plaza room.... I did not add it on however the day of the wedding, the maitre'd called us into the room during cocktail hour to make sure everything was set up how we wanted and he said to us...is the lighting color ok or would you like it changed to something else? so we had pink uplighting in the room at no charge. not sure if they will do that for everyone or in every room but just something to keep in mind before spending money on it....

I have been to bridal shows there. They definitely had the chocolate fountain to taste, cake and fruit and cheese. I do not remember if there were also hot foods that were passed around. But everything was yummy

Still haven't gotten a call from CH to schedule our final meeting, should FH and I be concerned? he said if they don't call by next Tues (exactly 2 months before our wedding and first day of my new job) then we should contact them.

Don't stress out about the final meeting. You really only go over your choices for the menu and you do not have to do that 2 months before hand. They are probably a little backed up since Sharon is out but if it makes you more comfortable call to see when they are going to schedule it
