Crest Hollow Ladies

I went to Crest Hollow tonight to talk to my banquet manager.

My reception is in the Plaza room. She basically said 'the marble is on a boat from Greece.' They're putting in a marble dance floor. And putting in a neutral color carpet.

She said they MAY change the chairs. The project was supposed to be completed by the end of this year, but it hasn't started yet. She said it will DEFINITELY be done by the time my wedding rolls around.

They also have ivory chaircovers (with ivory bow only) available now for $3 per chair.

And they have new linens - ivory and gold. You get one tablecloth but if you want them layered and festooned, it's an additional $5 per table.

ummm i have a really dumb question.. im booked at crestholl ow too but cant remember the name of my room... is the plaza the one on the top floor? with the little deck for the cigar roller? or downstairs?

Oh that's fantastic!!!! I'm 2 months before you, maybe I will have a half marble floor?

I will love if they do the floors over but I plan on getting chair covers no matter what so that's not a big deal - I just hope the renovations are done before my wedding!!!

our wedding is in the plaza room too but at the beginning of january and that would be sooo nice to have some renovations done to that room!

No problem! Not really sure WHEN it will be done, but they transformed the entire outside in like 3 weeks so I figure they can probably change a floor in like 1 week? Who knows. Maybe check with your Mait'D/BM and pressure them a bit for info LOL. Because when I first asked her, she was hesitant to tell me, and then by the end of the conversation she was like 'oh yeah, the marble's already on the boat'

the plaza is the one when you come up the stairs to the right.

I was there last weekend and my BM mentioned the Plaza renovation too. Maybe it will be done by Jan. If anyone hears anything else about the chairs I would be interested in that info

The down stairs room is mine too , its the emerald room.

I think any type of cp will look good in any of those rooms, the place is so beautiful :)

I'm actually doing my own flowers, my cp's are abour 16' tall.
