Crest Hollow + Pricing Extras?
Hi Ladies!I got engaged this January and started looking at wedding venues this past weekend. My fiance and I are planning to get married on a Saturday in July 2016 and received quotes for both the daytime and evening from Crest Hollow. I was shocked at how much lower the daytime quote was (almost half!), so I'm leaning towards a day wedding now.
My banquet manager did mention that there were additional fees that would need to be included (outdoor cocktail hour set up fee?!) Has anyone else visited Crest Hollow recently, and can you share your experience/quotes?
Thanks so much!!!

Hi-- rheyre really lovely but I was kind of put off by the extra $1950 to use the poolside for cocktail hour and then $4 chair covers, on top of the per person fee they were giving me. Also, when I went there were 2 or 3 weddings going on at the same time, along with the evening bride taking photos with Her bridal party (so it was overwhelmkng).. I personally don't want to see other brides on my wedding day, so I didn't go with them.. Yet im still searching ! Lol

When i went they said depending on where i wanted the cocktail our that depended on the price. I dont have the exact prices with me, i could check when i get home. But i feel like everything is up for haggling lol

That's really interesting that the 'outside set up fee' seems to vary, as I wouldve assumed that it wouldve been a flat rate. My quote was lower than yours, but was still turned off by the idea of it.They charge for seat covers too? Yikes. I'm planning to go back again this weekend to take a look at the rooms. There were a number of events going on last week, so I only toured the outside area (which i loved!) But didnt have a chance to actually see the rooms.

I was strictly looking at evening weddings. She was also throwing in little things here and there. You have to see the rooms for yourself When you see the rooms you could see what you like and don't like about it.

Can any former Crest Hollow brides share their experience on your daytime wedding? I'm concerned that there may be a ton of country club guests in the pool during the summer.

I went there for several high school events, and there are 4 rooms: 1 on the ground level, and 3 upstairs. There is one large room that I think can hold up to 1,000 people. The grounds are beautiful, but I liked one of the rooms upstairs and it turned me off a bit that there was only ONE bathroom (one for men, and one for women) and it was located on the ground level. I also was told that I would have to pay extra for the chair covers, as well as a $1600 fee for an outdoor cocktail hour.If you need any other venue quotes, I have very recent ones (from the last 2 months). Happy hunting!

When I went to chcc I was between two places. Chcc also charged for chairs n drapery in the plaza room and also if I chose an outside cocktail hour... I was able to take the seats charge off because the chairs are literally on their last leg..the leather ripped on most chairs...they said they would through in a Martini n cigar bar with lounge furniture....if your heart is set on chcc haggle for the seat covers and discuss what happens if you do chose to do the cocktail hour outside and it rains..you are out of that extra

i recently attended a wedding there and the food and service was so poor that people at my table refused their plates twice and went the night without eating... my food came out undercooked and with a hair in it... my fiance got the wrong plate at first and then when he told them they didnt get him another plate for 20 minutes.. everyone else was done eating and his food was cold and bland ---ppl at my table wound up taking money out of the envelope (which is so wrong) but after that experience i will not go back beautiful or notWelcome New Vendors
