CREST HOLLOW WEDDING

Hi everyone! I am having my wedding at Crest Hollow Country Club in the Plaza Room.. Are there any tips I should know about ?? Or has anyone at crest hollow promised something and not delivered ?? Im new to this and nervous..
BTW anyone looking for a great photographer.. Look up Velvet Studio, Duet or ******** .. All great photographers for very reasonable prices !

Congrats on booking Crest Hollow!

I am in the Grand Ballroom with a poolside cocktail hour.

We have a thread for Crest Hollow Brides, I will find it and bump it up for you. There is some helpful info on there.

Congrats!!! I booked the Plaza room as well and we are having our ceremony in the starlight! so far my experience has been very good!! The only thing i heard recently from other girls, that I wasn't told when i booked, is that we have to use their recommended florists. did u hear this when u booked? check out the crest hollow brides thread for more info...

Yes I heard about.. Tom, the guy who booked me at Crest, told me on the spot that the one vendor we must use was teh florists... So far, Ive been to *********** & Flowers by Brian, While *********** gave me a good price, I have to say I wasnt too impressed with their work.. I then went to Flowers by brian and Loved some of their displays... Not to mention Brians flowers were made from fresh flowers not fake ones like at ***********.. I have an appointment with Pedestals this weekend.. I will let you know how it goes..FYI: Flowers By brian got mixed reviews online.. Pedestals received mostly positive reviews..

Hey.. I have not but my friends have and their pics look really nice.. They all got pretty good reviews online as well . I would check them out myself as everyone has a different taste and opinion about what they are looking for and want, but I dont think you would go wrong with one of them ...

Which is the Plaza room? I've worked there but get the rooms all confused.

There is the one on the main floor w/all the windows around it with the dance floor a level down, the big on upstairs to the left at the end of the hall, the one upstairs in the middle that has a very modern feel to it, and i THINK there is one on the right at the end but i could be wrong.

Congrats on your booking!! I am also in the Plaza Room.

As far as photographers go, Patken is great!

And as for florists, Flowers by Brian were great. Pedestals had very mixed reviews. J@ck and R0se had horrible reviews. Fleurs de Florissima (aka Stefan's aka stefan's Florissima) was the worst experience I have ever had!! FM if you need more info.

Hi All,
I am also new to LI and currently booked at CHCC. I am also booked for the Plaza Room for my Reception, Poolside cocktail and outside ceremony. I've visited Pedestal and I really enjoyed my visit, but it was rather very pricey. They do a great job according to the arrangements I saw.

I am currently looking for a Florist, but a little upset that CHCC choose vendors so pricey for us to choose from. I really only want to spend 1500-2000 on Flowers. Not sure how many tables I would be having, I have 150 people. If anyone can FM me quotes that they have gottenfrom the selected Vendors that would be great!!!

Also, I wanted to ask if anyone notice that all the Vendor your using most have up to 1 mil liabilty Insurance...

Ques: Do we get the chair covers that we saw in the PLAZA room? I am meeting with my BM soon and will ask, but not sure if someone else already have the answer...
