I think part of the strip lays on the gum and that's what makes it stick...it grosses me out, but they work so I need to buy a pack soon.

no talking and try to keep your mouth sort of shut. but don't give up, because they really do work!

Jeanine, not sure if they are the same as the Crest Renewal strips, but on those the bottom piece gets wrapped down under the tooth & kind of makes it 'stick.'

make sure you wrap the extra part of the strip under your teeth and then just pat down the strip when it is in place so the gel moves around on your teeth

This is weird but... dry off your teeth.
I wipe them with a napkin so they are very dry and then I apply the strip.

I also do thebottom and top separately.

They slide around on me too a bit, even if I have them flapped over the teeth. I agree- it's much better if you try not to speak at all when you're wearing them (I applied them when I was alone getting ready for work in the morning, no one to talk to!!)

I usually hold them in place with my tongue. Im just used to it. The bottoms are a pain.

TRY YOUR TEETH WELL WITH A WASHCLOTH OR TOWEL MAKE THEM DRY THE TOP WORKS WAY BETTER THAN THE BOTTOM MAKE SURE ITS DRY THOUGH

me too! I just sit without talking or they move and it is just gross. They gross me out but it is worth it for whiter teeth! I need to go buy some

I've only had this problem if I talk or (sorry if this is gross) if I start salivating a lot. I try to keep my mouth shut tight, and if I get a lot of saliva in my mouth I spit it out and make sure the strips are still on tight.

You cant talk when they are one
and they taste gross

Pretty much what everyone said already:

*Don't brush your teeth
*Make sure you dry your teeth enough
*Be sure to wrap the strip around your teeth, under for the top, and over for the bottoms
*Press the strips firmly against your teeth.
*Try not to talk and keep your mouth closed

I figured a way to position my tongue so it rests comfortably, doesn't disturb the strips and I don't get a taste of the yucky gel either. I would describe it but Ron would ban me. Just kidding.
