One of my co-workers just told me that I need to buy Crinoline and bring it to my first fitting. When I tried on my dress it had some in it so I thought that's just how my dress will be made. Can you please help clear my confusion.

Re: Crinoline
If you wanted a more fuller look then you can buy the crinoline (its like a slip) but if you don't want it more fuller then leave it as it is.

Re: Crinoline
do you remember if the store made you put on a slip? if they did then it would be extra but I would be surprised that the store did offer to sell it to you. If it was in the dress, then its incuded

Re: Crinoline
My dress had some in it but it looked much better with a slip. I'd call your salon and ask what they would suggest. you sometimes do need the extra thickness in the skirt so that the dress falls properly.

Re: Crinoline
When I ordered my dress I asked her if I wanted it poofier do I need to order extra crinoline, she said 'wait for your gown to come in, the new gowns that havent been tried on always look fuller, if you want to add crinoline after your first fitting we can order it for you....but it will be alot poofier than the sample'
Just wait and see how it looks first, I've never heard of buying crinoline on your own, i'm sure, if necessary, they can order you more.

its very true...the sample i tried on didnt have much crinoline in it and seemed a bit flat...then when my dress came in i was surprised at how big it was and infact i had to ask them to take a layer of the crinoline off bc it was too poofy and even with taking some off it was still big
here is a picture of the sample i tried on at the store
and here is a pic of me at my first fitting when it first came in, so i was a bit surprised lol
