Re: Crinolines?
Do you mean a full dress crinoline?? Like a slip. When I went to salon to try on dress they said...this is a 1/2, a full, a 1/4. But these were only crinolines in the skirt not the top.

Re: Crinolines?
I think she means full on the top of the skirt, as well as the bottom. I haven't started shopping for dresses yet, but a friend of mine used a hoop slip, and the kind she had had three hoops, one about thigh level, one at about the knees, and one by the floor. She was looking for a bell shape to her dress, and the crinolines just weren't doing it for her. She also said that it was much lighter than having all of that extra crinoline, and boy, was her dress full. Maybe you want to try that out?

Re: Crinolines?
I'm using a hoop under my dress. I *believe* it's 132' circumference. I adjusted it smaller and then everytime I looked at pictures I kept thinking my dress wasn't full enough. Now it's pretty much pulled out to as wide as it gets LOL
I did have some layers of crinoline cut out. The dress is so much lighter now and still VERY full. There are pics on the dress thread.

Re: Crinolines?
Just to let you know, I went to try on my dress yesterday and it was with the fullest slip they had in the store (they said they could order it even fuller) and I was dying under my dress. My legs were sweating and I'm always freezing! It also felt heavy and I felt like it was getting caught in my legs everytime I tried to move. It would take me an hour just to get down the aisle if I wore that thing! I plan on buying a hoop skirt, probably off of ebay. Hope I helped!
