crocheting??

is crocheting hard? lol. i am taking a craft class in college and i need to pick a semester long independent project with a cultural background...so i was googling ideas and i came accross lei making by crocheting...

i have never crochet before, or sewed, or much anything too crafty. do you think this would be hard to do??? i need at least 13 hours worth of work. let me know what you think! ~lacey

You may want to post this on Crafts, or on LIfamiles craft board to get more responses. I taught myself to crochet, it isn't hard to learn, it is alittle harder to perfect it . Other people have taken to it faster than me, though. Taking a class may help yu uget started faster.

The book you linked to thoguh is for eyelash yarn, which I think is a little harder. You have to learn with regular yarn first.
