We want to go on a cruise for our honeymoon. We've been before and love it for the shore excursions, and, well, FOOD!
Anyway, does anyone know if any cruise lines do anything special for honeymoons? I really want to sit with just my FH at least one night at dinner!!

Re: Cruise...
I dont know which lines do anything, but I can tell you that Carnival doesnt -- we asked to be seated alone at dinner and we're not even gauranteed that. I also know they dont decorate your stateroom or anything like that anymore either.
I would think Princess probably does something -- you can try calling them.

Re: Cruise...
We are booked with carnival also.... they dont do squat for honeymooners.... if you want your stateroom decorated YOU have to pay.... what ever happened to giving honeymooners some extra special attention???
They have a section for honeymoons and weddings on board but have this extra also.

Re: Cruise...
FH and i went on royal caribbean and got a table for just the two of us for the week. They dont guarentee it, but we also had the later seating which tends to have less people. In my opinion, a cruise doesn't give much opportunity for a quiet romantic trip. Its more of a social atmosphere. I have only traveled on royal caribbean so it may differ with other cruise lines.

Thanks ladies. Turns out it is pretty typical to not get anything free. You can buy additional things like bfast in bed, etc.
GinaZ - you're right about it being more social. That's my fear. But then again, we love cruises for the variety of locations and shore excursions.
We'll make it work!
Has anyone been on Costa? It's fairly new right?

Re: Cruise...
We are going on a cruise with Royal Carribbean and they asked if we wanted a table for two.
We opted out though. We live together and eat together every night. We thought it would be more fun to meet new people and make some friends but we are very social. All the other time on the ship will be with just us mostly anyway.
