Cruise

Suite or balcony room.

I really want the suite because I feel like cruise ship rooms are soooo small. But it's $800 more. Worth it?

you're not going to spend too much time in the room anyhow

We got a balcony. FIL's told us we HAD to get a balcony, because FMIL loves to sit out on them and have her morning coffee, lol. So that's what we did

Balcony!!! According to what I have heard, its sooo worth it just to have that extra space.

I agree- we got a balcony room on the last cruise and it made a HUGE difference!! HUGE! You feel like you have more space b/c of the large windows and the chairs on the balcony you can sit out on.

I would get a balcony but I don't think a suite is worth it - you're hardly in the room.

suite is overkill. you aren't in the room that much to warrant an extra $800 you could spend on alcohol or excursions.

balcony is fine! that's what we plan to do as well.

i love a balcony on a cruise. its beautiful to sit out during the day and night (that is how i saw my first shooting star). a suite isn't neccessary the rooms seem tiny but there is a lot of storage space.

suites have a balcony too!

we are doing mini-suite...we definately wanted balcony and we figured this is the only time we are splurging like this

Are you going to an agent? Most travel agents will upgrade you to a mini-suite.

i think balcony is sufficient, spend the extra money on excursions, wine at dinner etc...

Absolutely!!!!!! This is what i did every morning on my cruise and every night i wld just go sit out there for a little while before bed!!!!!

No!! Def get the balcony....you want to hang out around the ship, not just in your room. I think suites are good if you have small children with you, but def a balcony is enough!
