cruise attire help

FH and I are going on our first cruise for new years and I need to start shopping! the only thing is, I typically wouldnt be caught dead in a bathing suit sigh ... so I need to shop. I need bathing suits, coverups etc. Where can I go?

Also - what should I pack for a 5 day Bahama cruise? TIA ladies

umm def going to suggest suntan lotion. fh and i went on a cruise to key west and bahamas last year at the same time as you...

and i got burnt in the bahamas i was stupid and didnt put any suntan lotion on.

but i also suggest
flip flops
beach bag
extra towel for each of you
sneakers (i dont know if you would need them though)
a nice dress or alfit for the captin dinners oh and def since you will be there for new years eve!! i brought my nice black dress never got to wear it bec my stupid luggage was lost and we didnt get it until the 3rd day of the cruise

oooo yeah reminds me bring a bathing suite underwear and bra and maybe a change of clothes in a carry on sicne i didnt have my luggage for 3 days i was so gross feeling and now i will always remember to do so!!

I went to Target the other day in Broadway Mall & they had bathing suits. I really didn't look at them so i can't tell you if they were nice or not but I did notice that they had some.

thanks girls. sunscreen is a MUST for me FH will tan well, ill just burn

i was thinking target, they usually have swimwear this time of year 'cruise season'

Also you might want some nice outfits. I think cruises do dress up nights (sometimes its formal).

most major department stores have bathing suits year round.

I know its far but at the riverhead outlets they have a store that has really great bathing suits and of course I can't remember the name but its in the 2nd center kinof near Guess.
