Cruise for a Honeymoon?
Hi all...Has anyone taken a cruise for their honeymoon or known anyone who has? My FH and I love cruises but I was originally thinking being on a cruise ship isn't private enough for a honeymoon. However, FH wanted to go to Italy and I was originally going to do an all inclusive in Caribbean because I thought we couldn't afford Italy. I'm starting to notice a Mediterranean cruise isn't as expensive as I thought and we could fly to Europe and do a week's cruise for only a little bit more than my carribbean plan. So now I need thoughts on cruises as honeymoons... Decisions Decisions lol

Re: Cruise for a Honeymoon?
we just did one last week for our honeymoon. it was my first cruise and i wasnt sure at first. but i LOVED it and although it's not as private as a resort would be...you definitely find your provate moments. in your room, at dinner, on excursion/ site seeing. we actually love people and had a great time meeting people when we were on deck or out. i think it's a nice blend of both. and people love honeymooners lol!

Cruise for a Honeymoon?
FH and I are hoping to be able to do a Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon. I have a coworker who did a Med cruise for her honeymoon and raved about it. She said if we are able to do it financially then to absolutely go for it.

We are doing that. Leaving very shortly, actually. We are taking a Celebrity cruise that starts in Rome and ends in Barcelona. We are spending 2 nights beforehand in Rome and then 3 nights after in Barcelona. It's a 7-day cruise. I can let you know how it is when we return! But I've only heard good things about Mediterranean cruises.

Cruise for a Honeymoon?
We've been planning on doing a Mediterranean Cruise as well. The only problem I've encountered is that you have to plan your vacation around the times that the cruise is-- so if you're concerned about leaving right after your wedding, you probably have to wait at least a few days since most cruises leave on weekends. That's the only thing getting in our way!

Cruise for a Honeymoon?
We are doing a cruise! But in Hawaii. We plan to be on land a few days prior so that the whole honeymoon isn't on the ship.

Cruise for a Honeymoon?
We are doing a cruise to mexico and central america. A cruise is pretty much the same thing as being in a resort in my opinion. Just a moving one.

Cruise for a Honeymoon?
We booked a cruise for our honeymoon. I've only been on 1 before, and it was the best vacation I've ever been on. The ships are usually so big, there is a lot of privacy and there's sooo much stuff to do! I highly recommend themWelcome New Vendors
