Not sure if these are running around the same time as you plan on taking your HM, but im looking into:

royal caribbean - leaves from NJ, goes to bermuda, st maarten, st thomas, and PR

princess - leaves from NYC, goes to bermuda, grand turk, st thomas, and PR

you really cant go wrong with any cruise IMO... just be aware that sailing to bermuda can be a lil rocky at times

A coworker of mine just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas and was raving about it.

anywhere is really good, depends what you want to do. if you want beach, sun, the cruises to mexico, bahamas, bermuda are fun. theres also one to europe which i think would be really nice. I did a cruise to Alaska for my honeymoon.

I don't agree that any cruise is good. There are certain cruiselines that cater to different types of people.

Carnival caters more to the younger crowd (college kids)...from what I've heard.

Norwegian Cruiselines are good if you are not really looking to meet anyone. (You are not forced to sit w/ anyone for dinner. You show up and they seat you w/ whoever you came with.) I enjoyed NCL- Norwegian Dawn (nothing like sailing out of NY!!!) Good food, good entertainment, but not the best cruise I've been on.

Royal Caribbean cruiselines are good if you want to mingle with people (or not). This cruiseline is my favorite, but is a little more pricey than the other cruiselines. Fabulous food, so much to do, indoor skating rink (in the newer ones), ice shows, and rock climbing wall. My fav. cruiseline! We are leaving for RCL trip in 3 days!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!

You will have fun on all of them...but JMO, RCL is the best! Although, if you've never been on a cruise before, you might want to start with a smaller ship, like Norwegian Dawn (NCL). RCL's ships are big and can be overwhelming if you don't know the 'jist' of a cruise ship.
