Hi.. anyone else going on a cruise for their honeymoon?

FI and I are going on a Royal Caribbean cruise leaving out of San Juan, PR. The islands we will be seeing are Aruba (2 days), St. Thomas (1 day), St. Marteen (1 day) and Curacao (1 day). We will arrive in San Juan and stay in the Caribe hotel for about 3 days before the cruise leaves too.

I can't wait!! We even have a room with a balcony!!

We are doing Royal's Serenade of the Seas, which alos leaves from San Juan, but goes to a few different ports. I am so excited. We couldn't afford the balcony, but we have a window. FH is a member of their Crown and Anchor Club, which is like a frequent sailer kind of program. We are kind of hoping when they hear we are on our HM, they will give him a 'perk' and upgrade us or something. Either way it will be awesome!

This will be my first cruise, FH's second. We are leaving from San Juan 8/1 on the Golden Princess going to St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Grenada, Caracas & Aruba. We are staying overnight in the Wyndham Old San Juan Resort and Casino the night before the cruise and we are flying back the same day we get off the cruise.

Another celebrty honeymoon cruiser. we can't wait. I love celebrity's site where you can check out all the different rooms of the ships.

Its a 10 day cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and the Bahamas .. we cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!

How cool!!! What week are you leaving? We are leaving Fri, July 30 .. our wedding is Sunday July 25. You and your FH are probably going just about a month after us!

Not having to fly to get the cruise in Florida or Puerto Rico is the BEST part! I hear the ship is amazing -- its the 2nd biggest in the world (We're gonna get lost on it!)

We are leaving Fri Aug. 27!!! It would have been cool if we were going the same week!! You have to tell me how it was after you get back!!!! Yea!!! It is coming up very fast!!!! I still feel like I have so much planning to do!

1017Bride, I have never been on Princess , but on other ships, the Norweign dawn was beautiful, and the Norweign Sea was a nightmare! My FMIL was on Princess and loved it. I cannot wait to go already!

We are doing the same cruise in April for our honeymoon,, the Adventurer of the Seas with a room w/ a balcony.. I will let you know how it was .. we have never cruised before either so it should be fun.
Make sure you request private seating at dinner so that the 2 of you eat alone at night, otherwise they will sit you with a group of 10 others at a table..
We opted for this since it is our honeymoon we wanted to be alone.. our travel agent also said we will be invited to a 'honeymoon party' aboard the ship, and sent honeymoon cake to our room on the 2nd night..

Princess99, my parents and FILs have both been on Princess Cruises and loved it. I am sure we will both have a good time!!
