is it true that being in the front of the boat is better than the back of the boat? Or vice versa? The back of the boat better than the front of the boat? Or does this not have any truth to it? THANKS

Re: cruises
The middle of the boat is the best. Middle floor and mid section of the boat.

Re: cruises
My travel agent said the middle is the best, you don't feel the movement as much.

Re: cruises
the middle of the boat is best, but remember the front of the boat can be more rocky and if you are lower down you hear the waves smacking the front of the ship. I would stay middle of the boat - but if you don't have the choice stay closer to the back.

Re: cruises
It's definitely better to stay on some of the higher floors of the ship towards the middle - the lower the cabin, the closer to the water, it's louder and you are closer to the gangplank that they roll out when the ship docks. Also, on most ships, the dinning rooms, entertainments, pool decks, spas, etc are all on the upper floors and the elevators can be a nightmare. I LOVED the last cruise I went on -Carnival Destiny to the Southern Carribean - have fun!

Re: cruises
Being in the middle is the best but if you can't get that and you have to choose between the front and back you should go for the back.

Re: cruises
I'm going on a cruise for my HM. I've been on a cruise once before, and the middle is the best place.
