Re: Cruise...UPDATED

We haven't done it yet, but we are thinking of doing a Mediterranean cruise possibly Greek isles and Italy. We just want to make sure we get enough time at our stops.

FH and I are taking a cruise around Italy and Spain and then we're spending 4 days in Rome. I love cruises because you get to see alot but you don't have to keep packing and unpacking your stuff everytime you go to a new place.

Wow what ship goes to Italy???

forgot to mention, i was looking this up bc i wanted to do this for a vacation, a cruise in the mediterranean, and most of them you have to fly to italy and take the ship from there.

FH and I are going on a cruise for 5 days and Disney for 6. We're going to the Bahamas. We're excited about it! My friends go on a cruise every year and have the best time. They've been to Jamaica, Haiti, Costa Rica, the Bahamas. There's a lot of places to choose from. Good luck with your decision!

Cruises are definately the way to go if you want to visit islands that are too expensive or not in your price range...I went on 3...I loved all of them!! and the last one i got engaged!

We're doing a cruise for our honeymoon. I've been on 5 or 6, but this will be FH's first! Its the best of both worlds -- you get to see a bunch of places for not too much money, theres ALWAYS somehting to do (or you can do nothing at all), the service, food and entertainment is fantastic, and drinks dont cost an arm and a leg. I've never been on NCL (although I've heard good things). I personally love Carnival the best and would highly recommend them, in part because a lot of the other lines have a much older crowd.
Good Luck and keep up udated!

I had a great experience on Carnival. I didn't enjoy myself too much on Royal Caribbean.

We always had great times on cruises. The only reason we are not doing it for our honeymoon is because we have never done an all inclusive before and wanted to try something different!

Ditto! FH & I live in FL, so we cruise all the time. Thought we'd try all inclusive, before we have kids.

what do you girls think of going on a cruise for a honeymoon? we were thinking tahiti or hawaii but its sooo expensive. So we were thinking maybe do a cruise for the honeymoon to save money for a house than for yr ann go to tahiti HONEST opinions please

we would be going on norweign...i only have been on norewign dawn so was hoping for that boat...where would you recommend going? what do you think is best those who have gone

im going through the same thing. FI and I just decided to do the RCCL Adventure of the Seas from San Juan to barbados, St. Martin, St. Thomas, St. Lucia and Antigua. we would rather put money towards a house and take a trip to tahiti on our 5 year anniversary.

FH and I went on Norweign to Bahamas in September we had a great time. I think it's a great idea to have a more reasonable honeymoon if you are trying to save for a house. We are doing the same. Congrats!!!

I got engaged on a cruise! It was so much fun. We had a balcony and everything, it was worth the extra money.
