Crumbs

I recently discovered that there is a Crumbs Bake Shop near work. So when I went out to get lunch I decided to get a nice red velvet cupcake from Crumbs. I ask the girl who worked in the store if the frosting was vanilla frosting or cream cheese frosting & she assured me that it is cream cheese frosting.

Well its not & btw I HATE vanilla frosting!!!!!!!

I am so annoyed.

im the opposite i hateeeeeeeeeeeeee cream cheese frosting. i cant stand red velvet blehh


sorry she ruined your cupcake though. throw it in her face

hmmm thats weird - they only use cream cheese frosting on most of there cupcakes

it tasted like Vanilla frosting out of a can.

I've had their red velvets before and it's always been cream cheese.

i have heard good reviews about the place in bay ridge too.

FH and I (and my friend) FINALLY went there 2 weeks ago... we got there around 8ish, they were sold out and only had TWO cappuccino ones left.. I HATE cappuccino... they each got one. but seriously, hi, you're open another 3 hours, if you saw that you were running low why not re-stock?
so I got tea (amazing)
but walking back to the car we see 'cupcake gourmet' and stop in there, they have SOOOOO many cupcakes... we buy a bunch of minis


they are HARD and taste like corn bread!
