I recently discovered that there is a Crumbs Bake Shop near work. So when I went out to get lunch I decided to get a nice red velvet cupcake from Crumbs. I ask the girl who worked in the store if the frosting was vanilla frosting or cream cheese frosting & she assured me that it is cream cheese frosting.
Well its not & btw I HATE vanilla frosting!!!!!!!
I am so annoyed.

There are other flavors that I'm more of a fan of at Crumbs than the Red Velvet.
Cake Man definitely has the best red velvet=yummmmyyyy

I only tried the peanut butter cup one and it was delicious. I'm not a fan of red velvet though. Too sweet for me.

thats funny when we were theere last night fh said it is so overrated and the girl who worked there said she doesnt like crumbs red velvet and people only get it because 'its trendy' lol
after this experience i have to agree. i had a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting from a bakery in Brooklyn for my birthday & it was to die for.
The little cupcake shop on 3rd??? they're cupcakes are awesome...
btw i love all all all frosting, especially out of the can!

I have had many red velvet cakes, cupcakes in my lifetime and nothing is better then Cakeman Raven !!!! he makes the best red velvet cake ever... I loooved it so much for my bday my client got me a whole sheet cake of it and it was gone in 2 days!!! my darn family started givin it away for everyone to try, lol
