Crushed-Vent
So, yesterday while pulling out of my driveway I didn't look in my rear view mirror. I put the car in reverse, let off the brake and CRASH. My FH had parked his car directly behind mine and I didn't even notice it, not even coming out of the house. I did more damage to my car then his. At first I was upset with him b/c he parked right behind me but, then I realized that I can't blame him afterall, I never looked in my rear view. Then it dawned on me that this wedding has my brain on overload. I'm doing all of the planning by myself, add his his son's issues (typical teenage stuff) his family relying on me to find them a house to rent while in NY for our wedding, my job, my business trips and taking care of him the house, our dogs! Anyway yesterday he was like ok so we'll get it fixed. Today is a different story.
He took it to a local body shop and the cost to fix it is $2,300.00!! He called yelling at me for not being more careful and that I'm a terrible driver and how can we pay for this with the wedding....blah-blah-blah. Well, it hurt. I almost wanted to cry. I thanked him for taking the car to the shop for me and told him I had to go. I'm not going to listen to that. Where's his compassion? I have a lot on my mind. Things happen. Does he think I'm not bummed out about it?
