Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?

Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
I made them and was in love wtih mine. On the wedding day I totally forgot about them. It was so sad because I was excited about them. But of course, no one noticed. So if you have some extra time and money, they're a nice tough. If not, it won't make a difference to the guests.
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
I'd maybe have them for family. Otherwise I really don't think anyone else would be crying. I've never cried at a wedding.JMO
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
I think a lot of the little details we do at weddings would not be missed. But I guess I wanted to know if the guest actually noticed this detail. I mean did anyone say 'Oh that was a nice idea to have the tissues'?
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
I think the only people who would cry are my parents, and they will have tissues on the I am sure. I am not going to do them I decided. I think people will be more like What the ***, than OOh, what a great idea. LOL

I didn't do the packets but I did a lot of other things. People won't miss anything if it's not there, but they will notice it if it is! I still have people telling me how special my wedding was because of all those little details.
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
I agree that guests notice them if they are there but nobody will miss them.
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
If I did make them, I think I would make them for the immediate family, or just parents and grandparents. Seems like a lot of work to just go unnoticed or unappreciated.

not doing them, too much work on top of all my other projects to be honest, plus its a little presumptuous IMO.
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
I just made mine and I love them. It only took a few hours and about $25. I say go for it. It adds a cute touch to your ceremony
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
I made them the day after I got engaged! I love them and I am glad I did it. I think it adds a nice touch even if they won't be opened or used or if a lot are left over.
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
Noone would miss them if you didn't do them, but they won't go unnoticed if you do. People like little things like that. I wouldn't stress out if you don't have the tim or money to do them, but they ar a nice touch.
Re: Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
I've never been to a wedding that has had them. No one will notice if you don't have them, but they probably will if you do. I've also always been of the opinion that it seems a little presumptous to assume that people are going to need tissues at your wedding. The people who know that they get teary at weddings tend to bring their own tissues..JMO.
