Cry Packs: Do the guest really notice this detail?
Hey,
I'm wondering if I should make the cry packs. HAve you been to a wedding with the cry packs or are you doing it for yours? I like the way it looks, but I was wondering if the guests actually notice this detail?

I like them but have never been to a wedding that had them. I don't think they will be missed, JMO.

I found an old post I did on the NB board on this. I will leave this up, but their feedback is that the guest liked them, just don't make too much.
I'll see .If I have time, I will do it.

I'm not doing them. I remember a bride saying once that she wasn't doing them because she thought it might be seen as presumptuous that she thought people would be crying at her wedding.

I was thinking of making them and attaching them inside the wedding program for the ceremony. I want tears during the recitation of the (self-written) vows.

Im sure they wont be missed. I made 50 packs and they cost me about $25

Me neither! I've never seen them, and don't plan on doing them. If my guests are 'cryers' then they should bring their own tissues. But I do think they are cute.

I had never been to a wedding that did them but I decided to do them for my wedding as an extra thing. I don't think your guests will miss them if you don't do them.

Same here, but I liked the idea and made them up. Took me about 2 hours to do 50 and it only cost me a box of paper and 50 tissues

I think they are cute as well...
However...this is in no offense to anyone making them..but I know I am stressed enough as it is, and I'm even stressing about favors right now. Doing cry packs to me sounds like wasted time and money. They add a cute 'something' but I do believe this is a NY thing..none of my other friends had heard of them!!

I am not - I liked the idea at first, and still do, but how do I know people are going to be crying at my wedding?

Same here. I don't think our families have ever heard of them, therefore they won't be missed.
