crying

ok, fh is in the shower and all of a sudden I realized my shower is Sunday, my wedding is in 52 days, the invites are out, and I am scared to death. I actually had a minute to myself and everything just hit me. I am scared about the shower, I never had a big to do where I WAS CENTER OF ATTN. I am soo scared. and just so overwhelmed all a sudden. has this happened to any of you.? and why am I crying?

while i am excited about having a shower, i am afriad its going to be really awkward and weird, especially the small shower i am having out here. i have never been to a shower and i am picturing a lot of awkward silence and weirdness. i also am a horrible dancer and I'm a little worried about everyone watching me. I'm also afraid I will look bad in our pictures.

im not scared about the serious stuff like marrying FH

awww hun You said it yourself, bc everything just hit you all at once! Its going to be ok - now you recognized your feelings, now talk about them and let them out. Its ok to be scared and not be the center of attention. Maybe have a few people bring you there. After I walked in and said hello to everyone I sat downa nd had a drink and people were eating and talking. Its not as bad, but still, there are many ways to soften the blow.

don't worry... I'm super scared of my shower. You'll get through it and I'm sure in the end, it won't be as scary as you thought it was. My FH has a huge family. I'm constantly worried about my mom and family... and making everyone happy.

I always have to think of what someone wrote to us in an engagement card. 'Enjoy every single moment of your engagement.' Unfortunately, weddings and all that comes along w/ it bring you outside your comfort zone. Atleast that's how I feel.

Just take a deep breath and give your FH a big kiss. It'll make you feel better.

I am worried about pics as well, I never felt that I was photo getic.

It will be ok! My heart was pounding as we were driving to my shower! We pulled in and i could see the room full of people. As soon as i walked in and everyone shouted 'Yay, she's here!' i immediately calmed down and couldn't help but smile and be happy. No one expects anything from you on that day then to be happy! After my shower i felt much better about being the center of attention for the wedding. It all goes by so fast and you should enjoy every moment of it!
