Crying...lost two more bridesmaids today.
Background info:My mom is not speaking to my bridesmaids (15 year old twins) grandfather anymore because he has been going around and telling everyone that he and my mom are an item and they are planning on getting married in the future (he's 85) So word gets back to her and she flips out and calls him a whole bunch of names. He writes her a letter saying it's not true and if she doesn't apologize to him then he will tell my bridesmaids mother to not have them in my wedding. So my mom doesn't respond to his letter and just now the girls mother calls me up and tells me to find other bridesmaids because of the situation between my mom and her dad. I told her that it has nothing to do with us and she told me that it would be inappropriate if she attended the wedding without her father...so to find other girls. I can't believe this...that makes four bridesmaids that I lost. I am starting to think that this is not meant to be....

OMG that is sooo horrible. Shame on adults to act that way. Don't worry if you love him and he loves you, it is definitely meant to be. it will work out for the best :

things will work out in the end. try not to stress over things you can't controll. (I WISH I had the luck that I could get rid of one of our GM.)

I just feel really lonely...like no one cares about me. Anyone who really cared would have stayed. I can't stop crying.

I'm sure you love the 4 BMs you lost but . . I wouldn't take that as a sign its not meant to be. Now if you or your FH 'drop out' then THAT is a sign!!
Don't worry it will all work out!

Re: Crying...lost two more bridesmaids today.
& don't take it as a sign the 15yr old twins don't care. they are to young to make the decision whether or not to be in your wedding. Its the adults involved screwing things up!Has the grandfather been like, say something really foul about your mother & him being together? Because (not bragging at ALL here) old men at our church hit on me all the time & I don't think 2x I laugh at it - its probably the only excitement they get! :) Not to mention they know they've got no chance & I understand its just harmless flirting. Maybe your Mom is taking this too seriously?

Re: Crying...lost two more bridesmaids today.
I am sorry you are going through this! It sounds really childish and it is unfortunate it is having this effect on you! It is completely unfair that you are in the middle like this! If it is any comfort, remember that you and FH have each other, it is YOUR wedding and that is all that matters! You will be the bigger person! Have you considered a king's wedding (just a MOH and Best Man)? If things have been such a disaster with the bridal party, it is worth considering just scrapping it altogether Just a suggestion to try and make your lives easier!

Re: Crying...lost two more bridesmaids today.
Thanks girls...I was so depressed yesterday. Adults act more like children sometimes. BUt this man is calling my mom's friends and straight out telling them that they are SLEEPING together. One of my mom's friend husband actually said 'How can I get with her, too?' I just feel like no one thinks this wedding is important. Thanks for your words of kindness...I come to rely on them greatly.Welcome New Vendors
