Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned.

--Buddha

Shamma, I love this one!!

Glad you like it, another one my aunt shared with me yesterday, says, holding anger against someone, is letting them living rent free in your heart.

While they go on not caring an ounce about what they did or what their actions have done to you. Why waste your todays on things of yesterday. You can't undo time.

Those who are at war with others are not at peace with themselves. --William Hazlitt

There are two days about which nobody should ever worry, and these are yesterday and tomorrow.

Have you been thinking about starting this thread since yesterday? Let it go.

Don't waste your breath on this, ladies. I think that MrHostility (what an appropriate name) will soon be going the way of Tommy.

Why is it that guys and girls can get along out in the real world, but once they pop up over here we are fighting like cats and dogs?

Funny you mention Tommy. This guy reminded me of him back when he posted the thread complaining that no one would tell him how much they were paying per plate. As IF it's any of his (or anyone else's!!) business.

Re: Crying towels

UGHHH enough with these threads!

this is the ridiculous... MrHostility is nice enough to post his opinion AS A MAN, that he believes most men wouldnt cry in public, and wouldnt take a cry pack..

HE POSTED HIS OPINION!!!!! thats what this board is here for last i checked,
then someone has to go telling him that his Opinion is wrong... your opinion is 'YOURS'... you may not like an opinion of someone elses, but thats why you have your own opinions.

second... he did not attack brides, he did not say an idea was stupid..he didnt say cry packs are bad for women, he just said as a guy, macho guys probably wouldnt take one of them..again an OPINION

he has been very active on here, getting and giving advice, i dont think its fair for someone to jump down his throat for giving his opinion

While a lot of what Tommy said did not bother me, I think it is inappropriate for any member of this community, male or female, to take aim at a particular person by starting obnoxious posts in an effort to embarrass, upset or anger them. Tommy did that and MrHostility is also doing it.

If he has some lingering issue he needs to address with R&T, take it off the boards. This thread is immature and unnecessary.

I agree with some of the above posts. Give this guy a break. He didn't say someones idea was stupid. He just said that most guys don't cry. He right. Most don't. I said MOST not all. Don't want my post to get blown out of proportion!

Re: Crying towels

I don't think there's anything wrong w/ a groom posting on here- so what if it's
'Brides helping Brides'. IMO- I would be happy if my FH wanted to come on here and post.
