Let me ask this. I'm curious. When exactly did Mr. Hostility insult someones idea or wedding? Quote it. I'd like to see it.

Isn't this for BRIDES

BRIDES HELPING BRIDES

She is Kims friend

well, thats what they say..but i love post here. this has been the 1 greatest source of information. magazines and tv programing can't compare to this. i rather be here then read a magazine...but it's really the same thing cause it's geared towards women. not that i find offensive but maybe it can be worded different. either way..i still love it

HEY NOW!!!!!
Leave my Tommy out of this - he is amazing person who was a victim of these boards and has since been kicked off. (by the way - you have no idea how happy it will make him to know that his legend lives on.... )
As I started reading this thread, I thought to myself....wow, Mr Hostility is just like Tom!!! He must be a great person.

And for those of you who want to talk about what a wonderful community this is of brides who all get along until a MAN comes on and posts - get off of it! That is ridiculous and untrue. THe majority of the posters on here are women.....but these women get into fights all of the time - and start vicous threads aimed at one another. What right do you have to insult a man for posting on a wedding message board - IT'S HIS WEDDING TOO!!!!!!
Let's stop this immature behaviour and learn that if you don't like a post or a poster - ignore them!!!! that's what i've learned to do!!

Lori,

I thought Tommy was great here, too. And I think Mr. Hostility is a nice guy. BUT I thought he pushed the envelope. If you know that certain people can be high strung even though deep down they are nice, then I think it would be wise to not instigate.

Yes, we women have our own fights, but I think the presence of men SOMETIMES makes the fights a little rougher. I love having grooms on here. Yes, I fully agree that this is their wedding too and that is why I don't make any wedding decisions (with the exeption of my gown and BM's gown) without my FH. The guys just have different arguing tactics, thus the fight escalates to a different level.

It is just a difference in our wiring. Not bad, not good, just different.

I hope I have not offended anyone

Re: Crying towels

Juliet -
I guess I just take it personally when women attack men for helping to plan their wedding. There is nothing wrong with a man posting on this board and it offers us a different perspective.
Why can't a man help to plan HIS wedding?
And I think the women around here are plenty nasty with or without the men involved!

Re: Crying towels

Please Ronnie is 100% involved in our wedding planning

He has a say in everything down to the font on the invitations......

So don't try to Front on that crap!

Ronnie would never come on a BRIDES wedding board and bash women

How pathetic..

I am done.. HERE!

Never mind Can they or Can't they? I think they SHOULD be helping to plan their weddings.

No harm meant to anyone and I really do with Tommybride was still around. He seemed so cool and fun to be around.

Not to be cheesey but...why can't we all just get along? We are all planning great events. There is no right or wrong. People sometimes open their mouths and insert their feet. Let's just turn the page...

UGHHH enough with these threads!

this is the ridiculous... MrHostility is nice enough to post his opinion AS A MAN, that he believes most men wouldnt cry in public, and wouldnt take a cry pack..

HE POSTED HIS OPINION!!!!! thats what this board is here for last i checked,
then someone has to go telling him that his Opinion is wrong... your opinion is 'YOURS'... you may not like an opinion of someone elses, but thats why you have your own opinions.

second... he did not attack brides, he did not say an idea was stupid..he didnt say cry packs are bad for women, he just said as a guy, macho guys probably wouldnt take one of them..again an OPINION

he has been very active on here, getting and giving advice, i dont think its fair for someone to jump down his throat for giving his opinion

Re: Crying towels

I think there was a groom's area and it was taken down because of lack of active grooms. Where is a groom to go these days?

I just think we need to realize that some are more sensitive than others and even though you may feel you shouldn't have to tiptoe around them, you should do it anyway unless you want to start something like this.
