I was talking to a few girls at work today that are getting married this year, and when I told them that I want to be at my CT hour they looked at me like I was crazy, saying that the bride and groom are not supposed to be. But I think that is the best part, I don't want to hide in the bridal suite for an hour while everyone is outside....what did everyone else do??

I will be attending the end of the CH. We are taking pictures and will be able to say hello to everyone for the last 30 minutes.
Most brides I have seen attend part of the CH to socialize.

will without a doubt in my head BE AT the cocktail hour! it is the best part food wise and why would i want to miss an hour of my wedding celebration??????????????

We are paying extra for some things at our cocktail hour. I'll be damned if I dont get to eat any of it! I am there!
We will be at the temple 4 hours before the wedding starts for BP and family pictures. We do all of our pictures before the ceremony as it is customary for Jewish brides to see their grooms before hand to sign the ketubah so we will have all the time in the world to be at our cocktail hour.
We wanted to be at ours too but we quickly realized that if we stayed there we werent going to get to eat one bite so we escaped to the bridal suite and had the bridal attendant bring us a little of everything. We got to PIG OUT! We just made sure all of our pics were finished by time the CH started.

We went to our cocktail hour 15 minutes into it because we were taking pictures but being there with my guests was the best thing we did. We talked to our guests and saw people that we probably would not had gotten a chance to talk to at the reception.
