i love the cupcake idea! do online searchs for pics and you will find awesome displays of them! they may indeed be more expensive than the traditional cake though. i guess you can shop around for a good deal. i do not think its cheesy at all, but remember, when you do something 'different' when it comes to weddings, there will always be people that roll their eyes or question your decision (i know this bc i got married at an aquarium lol). good luck!

I was going to do them, but my cake is included, and I believe its a little pricey to do cupcakes, depends on how many people you have also I guess. I think it can be done extremely tastefully
