for the most part...i love my RH but i also wouldve liked something more unique BUT that would mean i'd be spending double what im already spending...i love the rh so it all works out though and that day i probably wont even think about it

nope not at all!!! my dream wedding would have been a destination wedding or a very intimate family thing... I got a 180 people invited and are about 20k over budget

nope, not at all. i never thought of myself as the marrying kind, but then i met DH, and could see myself married only to him. i wanted a very small intimate wedding - destination would have been ideal, but then my dad would not have been able to afford to go, so instead we did a more 'traditional' wedding, and honestly, at the end of the day i'm so glad we did it this way. i would not have changed one single thing (except maybe my dress).

I wanted 11/29 or 12/27.
However, the more I thought about it pre-engagement the more I loved the idea of 12/27 becaue then I'd have a Holiday wedding. So that's what we went with.
Dec. will always be busy for us:
12/14 - His niece's b-day 12/16 - My b-day 12/18 - My niece's b-day 12/24 - X-mas eve with my family 12/25 - X-mas with his family 12/27 - Wedding 12/31 New Year's eve

Not At All, I wanted May but that was cutting it close, since we are paying 1/2 of the wedding we needed plenty of time to save so we chose September. Our date was the only available day left in September...now I love it! The only thing I hate about my date is that its the week of 9/11

Same here. Mom was going to give us enough for a destination wedding. But FH didnt want one so now we are spending over 30k.

I said everything I ever dreamed of but to keep it real it's much more then I expected. I just hope and pray that it turns out as well as I imagine.

this is a great question. We definitely scaled down from what I would want because of financial reasons but I still consider myself so lucky to even have the type of wedding I am having.

I think I am! I have dreamt of many different kinds of weddings. this is one of them. If FH and i ever win the megabucks, we will have a wedding every two years so I can have all my dream weddings. LOL! Jk (sort of...)
