I was wondering, how do most vendors/reception halls treat you when you say that you are 07? I remember over the summer i tried to make an appt w/ a florist (will not name who) and when i said my wedding was 'next summer' (meaning 06) he literally laughed at me and said to call back in a few months.
How are they to you??

Well, now that's pretty nasty and condescending.
I'd be really curious to know who it was, so I can avoid them...
I've only looked at halls so far, but they've all been fine about it. Actually, they've all said that they're already booked for a large chunk of 2007. I think most of the more popular places are definitely booking way in advance.

Well when I first started looking like 10 months ago, they did seem a little weird about the 07 thing. Now it has been different because my wedding is in early 2007 so it's not really that far off anymore.
I am waiting to go to the rest of the vendors until January though.
