What products do you use for your curls. Daily conditioner, gel...... Just wondering. I love my curls, but the ends seem to be all stringy like. I never straighten, too time consuming. I want to make sure I am using the right products when the wedding comes around. I want to use my natural curls in an updo. Oh, what salons do you go to? I have been going to Christopher Jons Salon and Day Spa in Sayville.

I use many different products, mostly hair serums, de-frizzers etc.. I am not leaving my hair curly for the wedding. I go to Savoire Faire Salon in Westbury.

I have thin hair and straighten it daily (which dries it out even more ) I put olive oil in my hair overnight about 3-4 times per week. It's great for the hair!!

I have very thick curly hair. I usualy straighten in, but when I leave it curly I use TextureLine Control gel and blowdry with a diffuser. When I straighten it I use TxtureLine Blow Serum it works great. I go to Nubest salon in Manhasset.

I change my gel every few months. Right now I'm using Big Sexy Hair Volumizing gel because I find that it holds without being sticky and manages the frizzies. I use a blow dryer with a diffuser, but air dry my hair for about 30 minutes first, and only dry it for a few minutes on low (using the higher setting increases frizz)
Before I switched to Big Sexy, I used 2 products-L'oreal's Frizz taming gel (can't remember the name exactly) and their Mega Hold gel.
My hairdresser is Lenny and he works out of the Joseph Kent Salon (which is next to the Loews Movie theatre in Stony Brook, near the Smith Haven Mall). The right cut is key to curly hair.
I wore my hair down and curly for the wedding, but had my hairdresser add some larger curls with a curling iron.

I use Pantene Anti-Frizz creme and their curl lock spray. I have been using Frizz-Ease hair spray(John Freida) for years and I cannot live with out it. I used to use it by itself, and it is great on the frizz, but it tends to leave my hair hard. That's why I now use all three. My hair doesn't get frizzy and it is alot softer. I am wearing it curly, half up for my wedding. I go to Cutting Express in Bellmore and they are great! I have been using them to cut my hair and do up do's for about 10 years and they will be doing my hair for my wedding.

-I use Finesse Conditioner like a gel/mousse (used as a weight for my tight curls)
-L'Oreal Pumping Curls (helps with softness and prevents the frizzes)
-Rave Hairpsray 3 (locks curls in)
-diffuser!!! (Give lots of volume without making the curls frizzy)
