Re: Curly haired girls
I use Clairol Condition mousse (purple) and Aussie Sprunch Spray... I do get a 'crunchiness' though but anything is better than frizzy!!!

Re: Curly haired girls
Bed Head Serum is EXCELLENT! Pricey, but far superior to any other product out there! It gives you smooth, controlled, soft curls without frizz or 'crunchiness'.
Also, I like Finesse Curl Defining Mousse, but you need to use quite a lot for it to work.

Re: Curly haired girls
There's a similar product to Frizz Ease called 'Smooth N Shine'. It's designed for African-American women (look for it in that section of the store), but I use it on my curls and it's AWESOME... if you put it on when your hair is wet and let it air dry, your curls stay nice and soft. I assume any type of anti-frizz serum would do the trick, but I've found this brand to be the most affordable!
Other than that, I use Aveda products. Aveda's 'Be Curly' and 'brilliance gel' work great!!! I've also had success with any type of spray gel.

Phyto Defrisant Pyhto Blow out Shampoo, and Oleo Relax by Kerastasse. Cliniques make a great product for Curly Frizzy hair, I switch it up every now and then.

Re: Curly haired girls
I use condition by clairol, jheri redding, or aussie mousse. My trick is to use a ton of mousse in the morning and let some of the crunchiness out throughout the day. It sounds nuts but when your hair is as curly as mine, its all you can do to salvage your hair so that it stays nice for the whole day.

Thanks ladies, I will definately try some of those suggestions, it's so funny that we all have a method! DO you find curls stay better when they air dry or blowdry? I tend to blowdry when no time but then add more product! It's so annoying =)

Re: Curly haired girls
I use Ouidad products nad just picked up Marc Anthony curly hair line (don't buy it, makes your hair sooo very dry). Also, try this method, after you put the product in your hair, take a wide tooth comb and brush the product through your hair (just once, don't over-brush, we curly girlfirends knw what that can do), then wait few minutes, flip your head over and drape a towel over your head, use a blow dryer at the bottom of the towel, (it makes sort of a tunnel effect) the hai is going in but doesn't really blow your hair all around, it is like a homeade counter top hair dryer that you sit under. I find that this helps. Also you can buy one of the counter top hair dryers that you sit under for about 10 min, beautiful curls are produced!!

Re: Curly haired girls
I use Ouidad and also Abba products. I usually scrunch my hair right after I put the product in, then leave it alone for a little while to air dry. Right before I leave for work I use the diffuser to dry it a little bit while I scrunch some more.

Re: Curly haired girls
I could go on forever on this topic!
My bathroom looks like a hair salon .. because I need to rotate products on a fairly frequent basis .. especially shampoo & conditioner .. and I need to wash my hair every morning to get a good curl.
When I get a chance, I'll make a list of the 'current' products in use at my house!
As for air dry vs. blow dryer .. I need to use a hair dryer .. otherwise my hair is flat and dull, especially at my scalp. To avoid frizz .. I really believe it's in how you handle your hair .. do not use a brush .. and only run a wide-toothed comb through your hair .. once .. maybe twice. Call me crazy .. but I also bend over and shake-out my hair. And when I do use the hair dryer ... I am constantly scrunching my hair .. but carefully .. to avoid frizz .. I need to start from the ends, and let the hair collect itself into my palm, then I make a fist. The trick is .. not to seperate the hairs from their natural curls .. that's where the frizz comes from.
I've also found that to keep a good curl all day .. I need to be very careful on just how much product goes into my hair. I know I've overdone it if my curls loose their spring before the end of my day .. which is always very long. So for me .. I can not try to gain control of my hair by increasing product .. and I need to stay with light-weight conditioning 'curling' sprays and gels.
