I just spoke to Cassarino........They say . . . .

No b/w actual shoots are included in regular packages. They shoot in color, and they can be converted to b/w.

The extra photojournalistic photographer shoots in
all b/w film and does all the candids and really artistic un-posed shots.(for 8 hours)
They guarantee ~150 shots from the extra person, but will most likely shoot more than that.

For $700, I believe I will have the extra photojournalistic person. I don't think that's too much to ask. They are soooo artistic, the last thing I want to do is regret it. Ching-ching

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry anyone. I think my problem is isolated. They are great photographers and you shouldn't worry. I have a unique situation and it seems there was a misunderstanding or miscommunication between us. I am waiting for a phone call to see if it can be resolved.

If you are dealing with the Queens office I wouldnt be surprised that you are having problems--although I love how my pics and album came out --it is still a headache and our wedding was a year and a half ago-- I was on the phone with them again this morning!!!

Even though fh & i have not done anything for the wedding, all i could tell you is that the only thing that you have left is video & photo. so i would say go for it if you are not putting yourself in debt for it. I am sure that your future children & grandchildren would love it....jmo

I getting the second photographer. I don't think $700 is a lot for it if you really llike that style. I would have actually preferred all photojournalistic but FH and family are more traditional so I decided for a mix. Sherwood Triat was like $1500 more for a second photographer so I felt it was a bargain. Now the problem is they don't seem to have a lot of photographers who do it, I think they told me about two-I can't remember the names right now. I have actually have had some problems with them getting it arranged, its not on my contract who the second person will be and I booked months ago. They are supposed to straighten it out this week so I'll let you know how it goes.

Liz - I'm trying to cut costs (as we all are!!) but I knew from the start that I wanted a second photographer. I'm a ****er for those candid black & white shots. To me - it just says 'wedding' - and makes it more of a special occasion. Thought I'd make you feel better by letting you know that $700 is not unreasonable for the 2nd photographer. We're paying $1000 - and another studio I went to wouldn't go lower than $850 for the 2nd person. So - at least you know the rate is pretty good!!
