if you are going to take your pics there, don't forget to swing by a ny state parks dept office and request a permit. there was no one on site the day of my wedding, but i have heard of them sending people away since it is property owned by the state.
i just felt it was better to be safe than sorry! if you do a search on the web, you can find different locations and phone numbers of where to obtain it. i would tell you but my dh got ours in staten island (no clue where!) and it is valid for that one day only... hope this helps! ps - the photographer might be able to help you obtain it as well - or at least gude you in the right direction... it was like $10 or $15. let me know how it works out!
