Re: Curves - does it work
I do like it- but there is just one problem for me- I need more than 30 mins a day to LOSE weight, so if you are active, it may not work for you. I feel it is more a maintenance program, but that's JMO.

Re: Curves - does it work
WELL...my answer is yes and no.
Yes I have lost 8 FAT pounds since I started in Feb. And I have definitely shaped up. But I have also gained muscle weight.
So you really have to combine it with cardio and / or exercise to see a number weight loss. Which is what I am starting to do now.
ETS: It is weight training machines, you do 2.5 or 3 times around the circle depending on how many machines they have. For a 1/2 hr each session. Good luck!

Re: Curves - does it work
I only see weight loss if I diet as well. If I don't, I can gain weight but, to date, I haven't gained any inches - Only lost.

Re: Curves - does it work
I went and didn't see results, but I am giving it another chance since I have a year long membership. I try to put a lot into the cardio part so that everything is balanced, but I don't seem to lose weight, I actually stay the same or gain. In terms of inches, I am not sure yet, but I don't feel like it. I am dieting- lo-carb and am not noticing a difference. I have been advized that it doesn't work right away- that it takes time.

If you don't mind me asking - how expensive is it?

Re: Curves - does it work
I paid $60 to join and now pay $39/month but I have a yearly membership - They also offer month-to-month.

Re: Curves - does it work
The sign up fee for one year is different from place to place- they all run their own promotions. When I started going they were doing a food drive, so if you brought in a sack of groceries, the sign up fee got waived. Each month is an additional 39. If you pay from month to month it is 49.

Re: Curves - does it work
It bored me to tears before I had a chance to see if it worked. Unfortunately I have a VERY short attention span, and working out in circles wasn't for me.
