Hello, we are located in central Nassau county and would like some info on where to get our custom engagement ring made?
It is a very simple plain platinum ring with a rounded softer knife edge and Scott Kay type 4 prong design.. its not complicated but it is unique bc of all the different design elements i want in it..
Please recommend a Jeweler who is Trustworthy, low cost, and most importantly to us, can make it perfect!!
if anyone has had it done custom, since this is a plain band but still has detailed features should i be looking at getting it done via CAD or just a wax molding would be ok?

I saw a setting i LOVED... FH drew it and brough it to a jeweler in the city down by china town and he made it off the picture and it's perfect.
The name and info is...
ha.. thought i had the card in my pocket but i don't.

My enagagement ring was made by John J. Sampieri, in the city.
elsa in farmingdale makes custom rings, she is easy to work with and i'm sure she can custom make anything you want specifically

FH bought my ring from Leder's Jewelers in Rockville Centre. My stone is a family stone, so they semi-custom made the ring. They're great people over there....very honest and trustworthy.

I prefer to stay in Nassau... i had enough run ins with the Diamond district when i was buying the diamond.
Else Rings in farmindale... does she good work? I have seen some posts regarding her when i searched..
My concern is that im a perfectionist.. and i dont know that without shelling out alot of money which i dont have, how much do they do for u to make you happy??

i had my ring made with Dennis Mole. He works on Bowery, but also has hours in Bethpage. He was very nice, helpful and trustworthy. I know several different people who have used him an loved him. FM if you want more info

I too am a perfectionist and I am using Elsa's in Farmingdale. Stephan has been amazing to work with...I cannot wait until my ring is finally finished. They work in stages so it is a little time consuming but the up side is that if you want to make changes you have many chances to make adjustments. I have had four appointments with them so far and I will have one more where I will finally pick up our rings!

FM me if you're interested in a jeweler in Plainview who can make anything. I got my wedding band made by him and he reworked my ering. Great job excellent quality.
