Custom wedding band? Elsa Rings?

Please help!

My E-Ring is raised so regular store rings I've tried look strange next to it. I met with Elsa at an expo and now I think a custom ring is the best way to go for me.

Can anyone who has worked with Elsa tell me about the experience or can you recommend someone else?

Also, I have NO idea what to expect price-wise. Can anyone give me an idea? I am interested in a curved, raised, half-eternity band (is that a real term? idk-lol), prob 1/4 carret stones in 18k white gold.

It's been a VERY long time, but I had a TERRIBLE experience with them about 13 years ago. What I had asked for was very simple (and therefore, probably not worth their time), but they gave me the run-around on it for many months and JUST barely got it in time. They were rude to boot!

Again, it was a long time ago. Things may have changed. Just be careful.

I meet them at a showcase and the woman was very nice. They don't really have night or Sunday hours so I didn't look into them. I did look on their website and found them to be very pricey.

I got a custom made band from Sam at Tri-County, Diamond Roof. I recommend going to him. I know lots of other LIW brides also went to him.

was just going to write a rave about Diamond Roof jewlelers in Tri County...they are so afforable and a pleasure to work with!!! I got a call this weekend that my bands were in and I couldn't get there so they were so excited to show me them that they texted me a pic!

I'm really surprised to hear such negative things about Elsa. We are both using them for our wedding rings and the only bad thing I can say is that they take a LONG time.

Everyone there is extremely nice, their customer service is excellent and Elsa's attention to detail is very comforting. The only problem that we have is (like I said) that it's taking so long... we ordered our rings in September and still don't have them yet. Good thing we started early. I'm sure if the wedding were sooner they would have been a little quicker about it...

As for pricing, they were on the slightly higher end, but in my opinion it's worth it knowing you have a real professional working on your rings. Gold is expensive, and I trust the quality of Elsa's work. I think her prices are competitive but just a touch higher than you'd find elsewhere. Their customer service I think also helps make up for that.

If you're worried about budget, it doesn't hurt to make an appointment and get an estimate. She should be able to give you a solid estimate if you know what exactly you want (which it sounds like you do).

As others have said, their hours are limited, which can be annoying. They are only open Wednesday - Saturday. But they are very good about returning phone calls and emails.
