Custom wedding bands

My engagement ring is a little unusual, so I'm considering getting a wedding band custom made. I actually found a band that i absolutely LOVE (trying to attach a picture - lets see if it works), but I think it is a little too thick for my E Ring and also is REALLY expensive.

Has anyone designed a custom wedding band, and have a recommendation for a jeweler? I'm in Nassau, so nothing too far east. Thanks!

I got a custom Tacori style ring about 1/3 of the price. Went to Tri-County Diamond Roof. The ring should be ready this weekend.

Oooh, let me know how it comes out! I met with Guistina (sp?) at Diamond Roof a few weeks ago before I was thinking about custom rings. She was really sweet and helpful. I'd love to give her my business, if I hear good reviews about their custom jobs.

That floor at Tri-County was really overwhelming, and most of the other salespeople we spoke to were so grimy. (I get really uncomfortable when salespeople are too pushy.)

Yes, tri-county can be very overwhelming. FH purchased me jewelry last Christmas from there so for our wedding bands we only went to Diamond Roof. I don't know the woman's name but she was very helpful and so was the owner Sam.
I will keep you updated and I hope it is ready this weekend.

I LOVE the Diamond Roof. We deal with Sam or his wife Nora. My Dh bought me tons of jewelry from there which happens to be well priced and beautifully made.

My BIL is having something custom made and its turning out beautiful.

My DH bought me a custom made diamond cross and its just beautiful. He got my engagement ring, our wedding bands, the cross, diamond studs, a diamond heart necklace and key heart chain. My BIL also uses them too.

They are very personable and take great stride in their work. If you want tell them you were referred by Gabe (the ConEd guy - My hubby).

They will work with you in anything that you want. Show them your ring, or bring pictures but you will get exactly what you want and how you want it.

I would stay to allow 6-8 weeks. It really depends on the jeweler's work schedule and how much work your design would need.

Thanks ladies! I'm gonna go to Diamond Roof next Sunday. It's even more convenient that they are open on Sundays, because I'm working six days a week until April and even if that would give me enough time, I'll have anxiety until I get it settled.

I looked in your album.. the band in there is beautiful. I have to have mine custom made too. I am going to the jeweler who made my engagement band she is in Merrick and my family has used her for over 10 years.
