Okay, this Christmas season, I want FH to come with me to get a picture of us taken with Santa.
I don't know why, but I just thought it would be something cute to have for Christmas time.
Is this absolutely absurd?
FH didn't think it was ridiculous. He even suggested we go to a particular Santa in PA (where he grew up and his parents live).
And, no, I won't be offended if you think it's just plain silly!

CUTE! I would never do it....but I totally love seeing pics of others doing this!!!! [i have always hated sitting on santa's lap, so i would find no joy in it.]

ok i have to say i haevtn done it in awhile, but i have an 8 year old so im familiar with the santa scene on long island lol...the BEST santa is in roosevelt field, he is AMAZING!!! and funny thing is, i work for a drs office and one day he made an appt, so when i asked his name he said santa, and i thought the guy was just crazy...he made xmas jokes and everything...well when he came in...it really was SANTA!!! HO HO HO

My niece had her 1st picture with Santa taken with the Santa at Roosevelt Field and the picture was AMAZING. He really IS a good Santa!

I didn't think mine would either, but he just said 'okay' when I brought it up. Well, and he gave me a weird look... but when he realized I really wanted to do it, he seemed all right with it - and even suggested a good Santa!
Maybe your FH will change his mind.

Funny you mention this! I bugged FH Christmas of '05 to go with me. We never did, then this past Christmas he was all for it. I had no idea he was planning to propose then. The thing is I ruined it! We planned to go on Wednesday and he was supposed to have the ring by then. When he changed his mind to go the following Friday I thought he was just trying to get out of it and insisted we still go. We went that Wednesday and had our pics done, but then he held out until Christmas day to propose. I'm such a brat!!! Santa was supposed to ask FH what he wanted for Christmas, then he was going to ask me to marry him. Awww!!! If only I was patient!!!!

adorable. Every year we get a pic with Santa... of course it started the year our oldest son was born so we also have kids in each of the pics. But I think it is a great idea. I wish we had one with just us and Santa... kind of a 'before' pic...
