FH and I have been trying to figure out how to incorporate our birds into our wedding. I haven't come up with a viable idea yet until today when I was randomly thinking since we have 15 birds and about 15 tables I could take a picture of each bird, frame it and put a number on it to use as a table number thing. So I called FH all exited about my new idea and he liked it but suggested we name the tables after each bird instead of using a number.
What do you girls think about actually naming the tables after the birds?? Is it lame?
ps....some shameless promotion of my little flying poop-machines....

I do think that's the best way to go about incorporating your birds into your wedding. Don't really know how else you could do it. Since they are so important to you I say go for it. Honestly, after I read the first sentence of your posts, my thoughts went directly to table-number pictures.

I was just reading some girls review and she did that with her dog!! so cute...I wanted to do that with my pup...he is def gonna be in some pictures too!

I think it is a cute idea. I would use the names of the birds instead of the numbers.

i went to a wedding where the bride and groom didn't have table numbers, but used street names instead. i am thinking about using something other than numbers too.
i think your guests will love it, it's totally cute!

Imagine! hahahhah...I was going to name my tables..but FH and RH suggested we also number them b/c it will get confusing.

i think its cute, lucky 15 tables=15 birdies...if pics, b&w may go over nicer or easier (color scheme variable) if they are dif colors...names cute too though

I used to have a jendaya conure but passed away , I want to still incorporate my love for birds into my wedding like a crystal place card holder of parrots, I am def having a huge parrot ice piece. What kinds of birds do you have? Pl post more pics. Here was my baby:

I've got 15 Budgies (Parakeets)....FH and I wanted to start small to get the feel of taking care of a bird...We plan to work our way to bigger birds. In fact I think my wedding gift to FH will probably be a Conure or an African Grey parrot.
PS: Your conure is/was so adorable!! It ***** loosing a pet....we lost one of our birds to a kidney problem in December...it was not fun FH was very upset.
