FH and I have been trying to figure out how to incorporate our birds into our wedding. I haven't come up with a viable idea yet until today when I was randomly thinking since we have 15 birds and about 15 tables I could take a picture of each bird, frame it and put a number on it to use as a table number thing. So I called FH all exited about my new idea and he liked it but suggested we name the tables after each bird instead of using a number.
What do you girls think about actually naming the tables after the birds?? Is it lame?
ps....some shameless promotion of my little flying poop-machines....

OMG that is the best, yeah take pics of your birds and put them on the tables with their names. I am a bird lover. I used to have a jendaya conure but passed away , I want to still incorporate my love for birds into my wedding like a crystal place card holder of parrots, I am def having a huge parrot ice piece. What kinds of birds do you have? Pl post more pics. Here was my baby:
I've got 15 Budgies (Parakeets)....FH and I wanted to start small to get the feel of taking care of a bird...We plan to work our way to bigger birds. In fact I think my wedding gift to FH will probably be a Conure or an African Grey parrot.
PS: Your conure is/was so adorable!! It ***** loosing a pet....we lost one of our birds to a kidney problem in December...it was not fun FH was very upset.
more pics:
OMG they are beautiful. Yeah my bird had a disease too, kidney or liver or something of that sort. I used to have budgies when I was young, we always had birds in my house. Aww thats nice that you are giving FH a parrot as a wedding gift, I am going to mention that to my FH, lolol.

I think that is an awesome idea. We are actually doing that with our dog to encorporate him into the wedding with all different # pictures for each table. I really like naming the tables after them...that is so adorable! and unless you have any named something like $hithead (like one of my chickens) I think it will work wonderfully!
ETA: Could you imagine being at the $hithead table?!?!?!?

The dog idea is so cute. Super2Star actually mentioned a recent review where the bride did that....which is actually what prompted me into thinking about my birds...that brides review

Using their names and pictures is a great idea.
And the nice thing about using names is that people at table 15 won't feel less important than the people at 3.
