cute places for showers?

cute places for showers?

Hi everyone,

I am helping my sister plan my shower - it's my own fault - I am traveling for business the month it is scheduled for - so I had to know.
Anyway, we wanted to have it at a cute, but fun place, but are running out of ideas. We looked at the Milk & Sugar Cafe in Bay Shore and loved it - but it's booked straight through JUNE 2003!

Do any of the Suffolk brides (or those in Nassau near Bay Shore) know of any cute coffee houses? Or laid back, but pretty (think atmosphere!) places?

tia,

When I read the title of your post, The Milk and Sugar Cafe came to mind and that was going to be my recommendation. My sister was going to look into it for my shower as well. Sorry, I wish I had had another suggestion for you.

My shower was at the Beechtree Cafe in East Islip and they did a great job. We were upstairs and the food and service was wonderful!

It is an Irish Reseraunt on main street, I had a party there after my college graduation and I loved it!

Re: cute places for showers?

Thanks everyone for sending suggestions. The list has been reduced to 55 and I am going to call around.

The other problem is our elderly folks can't get up any stairs, so the Beach tree is out, which stinks because it is nice and the upper room is very spacious. Ugh!

Maybe I should start my own cool coffee house like Milk & Sugar and only rent it out to librides!
