I was boring and just asked.

But I was recently asked to be a BM in my FSIL's wedding and she sent me and her bridesmaids a Valentine's card she made...the front had a heart that said 'Will You Be My...' when you opened it it said 'Bridesmaid'. It was really cute. It had a yes and no you had to circle and send back. I wish I thought of something cute like that.

i'm not having a bridal party- but my friend who got married in june asked us in a nice way- she sent us all flowers, different ones for each of us... i got tulips, another girl got lilies, another roses etc etc it was the nicest gesture... i was shocked and cried a little...

i actually just ordered really cute 'will you be my bridesmaid' cards. since all the girls live in different locations, I am going to mail the cards to them.

(I was going to make the cards, but i found really cute ones online for basically the same price that it woulc cost for me to buy all the supplies)

I made them bridesmaid tank tops and put it in a bag and had them open it!

I had cookies made in the same dress color that the girls will be wearing. Each cookie was placed in a box (wuth my colors) and there was a notcard attached that asked 'will you be my bridesmaid?'

I did the same cookies as POOH did...

They were cute, but expensive. I left them in little bags and dropped them off at all their houses.... They called as soon as they got them...

I invited them out to our favorite place (PF CHANGS) for dinner, and had the waitress bring them each a flower out right before dessert and each flower had a note attached, asking them to be my bridesmaids and maid/matron of honor. It was great.. they were so surprised.. Such a mushy moment.. lol

I'm in the process of making baskets to send to my flowergirls. The moms already know but I want to make it special for them..

I also did personalized cookies from Weddingish.com...pics in my 'extras' album...they loved it

I made them cards myself. I went to micheals and got all of the stuff. They came out so cute and I stll haven't posted them... maybe tonight I will

I was boring too, but my friend was asked an her friend's e-party...

there was a little pair of shoes, like mini shoes, on some people's plates and their names

and in the card was a note asking them to walk by their side on their wedding day.

I thought it was a cute idea, not sure about the e-party thing, but to each is own.

For my youngest cousin I made her a really cute photo album of us and titled it 'through the years' the last 'photo' in the book was a really cute poem I found. The poem asked her to be my BM, and of course she got all teary eyed and said yes!!
