CW Post InterFaith Chapel

Hey Ladies,

Anyone have any information (or pics) of CW Post Interfaith Chapel? Im looking for a church (non-catholic) to get married in and having a hard time finding one that will let non-memebers get married. Both my FH and I attend church regularly in NJ at a non-demoninational church and would love to have our pastor do the service, but still looking for a location.

So any info on CW Post or other location suggestions would be great!

CW Post InterFaith Chapel

It's actually a very beautiful building. Fh and I met at post and I had thought of having wedding there if we couldn't get married in his church. I think for non alumni it's like $300

I'm a student at CW Post and I can tell you that the parking around the chapel is not the greatest. However, it's a gorgeous building and the campus is beautiful if you wanted to take pictures there. Also, the people who you'd be speaking to are the most kind-hearted people you'll find.

I went to Post and have attended a wedding there. The building and grounds are beautiful and everyone there is really nice. As the above poster said, parking right by the chapel isn't wonderful, but there is parking down in the quad area, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Did you end up having your ceremony there? I was considering it but $1000 is steep! Anyone know of any other chapel or churches that would marry a interfaith couple?

My parents actually got married there in 1980! It was one of the only places where my mother could have a priest and my father could have a rabbi. As for the cost, to be honest that's pretty comparable to what the ceremony fee is at Flowerfield.

My sister got married at Bethany Congregational in 2007. It's really cute. Also, My FH's grandfather rents out the space bc he is a Pastor. Check it out!
