I was wondering.. who is doing permament french? Are there different ways of doing it? I have never done that...

i have friends who have it and say that although it looks nice (IMO the white is usually very thick) it doesnt last and it grows in weird...
i have reg acrylic and im just going to get a french painted on....like i always do

I did permanent french UV about a year ago. It's okay and looks nice, but be prepared, it destroys your natural nails after you take them off. Mine are JUST getting strong and normal again. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't plan on keeping up with it.
I tried the Virtual Nail that Dashing Diva does and I liked it a lot better. They lasted about a week and a half.

I have done permanent french in the past and will be for the big day.
Most salons offer the service; where do you usually go for your nails?
I prefer the permanent french so that there is no worry about the polish chipping.
I know of a great nail technician who is in Great Neck but she is a little pricey. FM me if you want her info.

I never do permenant franch because I don't like how it grows in, but I dont want to worry about chips...i dunno, i guess if i go the day before, there wont be enough time to chip...

I just discovered permanent french (UV gel) and will NEVER go back to acrilic or silk wrap.
It has NEVER been thick. I was told it has less chemicals so it does NOT destroy your nails. Also they grow GREAT for me.
They NEVER chip and they look BEAUTIFUL 2 weeks later. I want my nails to stay nice through my 2 week honeymoon.
But I have been doing it for 2 months now and will never go back. I love that they look like I got them done that moring even though they are 2 weeks old.

i've done permanent french and i HATED it after the first fill.
the way they fill it in you can see the line of every fill.
i'm not sure how i am doing my nails yet. i wanted to just get a regular french manicure but i just broke a couple nails so i'll probably just do a regular set and get a french on it.

I've never had tips or wraps in my entire life, except for prom! Just last month I got the UV Permanent French. I like it for the wedding, but I don't think I'm going to keep up with it too much after. It's too much money and even though my nails are very short, it's still annoying to do things. I wanted them to look nice in pics for my shower and b-pics, and of course the wedding. I think it looks nice!

I am not sure who is doing your permanent french - But I love it and have never had a problem - they are not too thick and I dont see lines after every filling - they last a very long time and is the only way I get it done - I will be doing before the wedding. Even if you get a polished french right before it may look nice for the wedding but will look like crap on your Honeymoon -
